Status of enabling works – integrated dairy facility, suninah

The enabling works for a number of facilities at the Mazoon dairy project site is nearing completion. These include site management offices, a guest house, a ready parking area and a security check point. All of these enabling works are important in ensuring that full construction can quickly commence.

This is the latest milestone for the project as it prepares to start the major construction work at the RO 100 million facility at suninah. The enabling works also include a 15 sq km field fence enclosing the entire dairy facility along with a 15 sq km paved road to ensure ease of access; a 1km internal road to transport materials required for construction; 4km access road to the Ibri/Hafeet highway and an installed 1 Mega Volt Amp (MVA) power line to supply electricity during the construction phase.
