People get a first taste of Mazoon Up laban drink across the Sultanate
Muscat, May 2019: Mazoon Dairy Company, the flagship dairy company of the Sultanate of Oman, is embracing the spirit of Ramadan and sharing the joy of giving with the community through its laban drink Mazoon Up. This initiative is part of Mazoon’s efforts to reach out to the people of Oman and share the highest quality laban drink during the Holy Month.
Mazoon will distribute almost 500,000 packages across the Sultanate throughout the month, at mosques, hospitals and other locations, so people can get a first-hand taste of Mazoon Up and celebrate a blessed Ramadan.

Mazoon Dairy is proudly Omani, and as we are aware that laban and laban drinks are a crucial part of the Omani diet during the Holy Month, we launched this initiative to share our Mazoon Up laban drink with the community. We have had an overwhelming response to Mazoon Up so far, and we would like to thank people for their appreciation, and remind them to look out for our full range of fresh dairy products and juices at supermarkets later this summer.”
Mazoon Up meets Mazoon Dairy’s stringent quality controls, and has been made from milk produced at Mazoon’s state-of-the-art, fully automated milking parlour along with chilling and storage facilities with zero human intervention, following the strictest quality controls and process established by Mazoon Dairy Company so that the laban drink is guaranteed fresh. Once Mazoon’s dairy facility is fully operational in the summer, Mazoon will produce, package and distribute all of its dairy and juice products across the Sultanate. However, to ensure that Mazoon Up reaches as many people in the Sultanate as possible during the Holy Month, Mazoon Dairy has used facilities of A’Safwah, another leading Omani brand to prepare and package the laban drink.
Mazoon Dairy launched its visual identity earlier this year, which was a significant milestone in the company’s journey to establish a homegrown dairy business in Oman. Mazoon Dairy’s range of products will be available on the shelves later this summer, and people will be able to enjoy quality, locally-produced dairy and juice produce, including milk, yoghurt, laban, fresh cream, cheese and ice cream.
